What happens when I start an account?
You’ll receive an activation email with a code to log in. Once you’re in, you can start using your Lite account straight away, no payment details required. You’ll have access to your data room and all the features included in the Lite plan.
Do I need to provide any payment details?
No, you don’t need to provide any payment details to use a Lite account. We’ll only ask for payment if you choose to upgrade your plan or exceed your included storage.
Is my data secure?
We’ve been trusted to secure some of the world’s most sensitive data for over 15 years. Your information is protected with encryption in transit and at rest, hosted in SOC-accredited data centres, and managed under ISO 27001 certification. You can apply layered permissions to control who sees what, and accounts on supported plans can enable multi-factor authentication for added protection.
How do I upgrade my account?
You can upgrade at any time from your workspace. Just go to Manage Workspace, where you’ll see all available plans and can choose the one that best fits your needs. Upgrades take effect immediately after payment.
How can I start up additional data rooms?
Once your Lite account is set up, you can create additional data rooms anytime by clicking ‘Create a Data Room’ from your dashboard. There’s no charge for new rooms on the Lite plan, unless you choose to upgrade or switch to a paid plan. You can close rooms whenever they’re no longer needed.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
To cancel, simply delete your virtual data room — billing for that room will stop automatically. If you’d like to change your plan, you can do so in the settings of your virtual data room.
